Default Today's primary, bread-and-butter setup would make Jordan the GOAT again

    .
Big men can't defend guards closely, so when today's spread floor, screen-roll setup forces bigs to defend guards on the perimeter, today's ballhandlers enjoy wide open mid-range shots ANYTIME THEY WANT:

Unfortunately, most players can't take full advantage of it because they don't shoot anywhere NEAR 50% from midrange like Chris Paul or MJ, who would make a mockery of this setup.

Ultimately, Jordan's combination of Chris Paul midrange PLUS Lebron/Westbrook rim attack would make him one-of-a-kind in today's game, and virtually impossible to gameplan for - defenses would be forced to make severe, punitive adjustments to prevent his automatic pull-ups (the kind shown above).

Today's standard screen-roll setup allows a ballhandler an unlimited amount of open midrange jumpshots.

Accordingly, Jordan's one-of-a-kind combination of goat midrange efficiency and goat rim attack would allow him to score at will in today's spaced-out game, and separates him from all other players in history.

He separates himself because he's the only goat-level athlete that was also a goat shooter from either midrange or 3-point range - those are the facts.. So in today's game, he'd have Chris Paul midrange and Westbrook rim attack - that's the GOAT and easily the best player in today's game.

See, you missed the bolded words above - so name me another goat-level superathlete that was also a goat shooter from either midrange or 3-point range?..

    I'll wait

Pretty big difference if you ask me.. And Jordan's one-of-a-kind combination of goat athleticism and goat midrange shooting makes him uniquely qualified to take advantage of today's cupcake setup more than anyone else.

    It's 2016.

Everyone knows Michael Jordan is the GOAT.

And if not everyone, most people.

Why do you keep making these topics?

Due to the spaced-out setup on screen-rolls where bigs are forced defend on the perimeter (shown in the OP), Jordan might play point guard and use screen-roll incessantly in today's game, just like Harden and Lebron do.

And by doing so, he'd average far more assists than both.. He'd show that Lebron's 6-7 assist range is actually pretty pathetic for a point-guard level ball-dominator in a such an easy, spaced-out setup.

Ultimately, Jordan's prime stats would be better than they were in his era, probably 35+ ppg, 6 rebounds, and 10+ assists.. Don't be surprised - spacing makes the game easier for EVERYONE - why would Jordan be different?

Ordan is nowhere near GOAT shooting from 3point range. FACT. He is BELOW average compared to 3point shooting in todays league. GTFO.
