this year they needed defense. last year they needed more offense. okc was top 5 defensively last year, and the D against the lakers was good enough to win, they just didnt have enough guys step up to make shots. durant shot a horrible %, harden couldnt play on the road, and jeff green was pretty much a no show all series despite tons of open looks.

IMO, this is the only team with a legitimate shot in beating the lakers. It all depends on if Durant and Westbrook can play like stars. Last year Durant let Artest punk him and missed a ton of open shots.

Picking up Mohammad and Perkins along with Ibaka did wonders for the interior defense. The Thunder are going to be tough to beat come playoff time and no one should sleep on them. They are really good now.

and 6'9 Jeff Green was at any point guarding either Bynum or Gasol. That was a problem!
