LOL, when will people learn MVPs aren't won or blown with one game? I remember when LeBron completely stunk it up in March '09 against LA, everybody was all "he blew it tonight blah blah". But what happened? He played the rest of the season like a superstar does and nobody remember nor cared what happened 1 Sunday afternoon in March come voting time. MVPs are given based on consistent excellence of 6 months. 1 game means nothing. Rose just needs to maintain his best-PG-in-the-NBA standards from next game onwards and he'll be the favorite.

Rose is going to win it simply because of media influence. Every media, analyst, journalist, writer, etc. has Rose as their MVP. i.e. whoever has the most media riding their jockstrap will win the MVP. It is sad, because it comes to a point where the fans don't even think for themselves. They just let these guys think for them. I am not saying Rose doesn't deserve it, because he does and he is for sure a candidate. I am just saying he will win it because of this.
