McGee > Zaza
Will GSW be better if McGee starts?

Game. Set. Match.
Re: McGee > Zaza
Zaza starts because he can set screens, box-out, and rebound. He does all of those things better than McGee. I wouldn't be shocked to see McGee slowly get more time, but I doubt he ever starts a game. I'd like to see McAdoo get more minutes.

Made that high school varsity squad
Re: McGee > Zaza
Better to have Bogut and a dwarf has a back up than everything they have right now.

Did you watch the game? Zaza seems lost and can't do any of the things you described.
The only thing Zaza does better is probably positioning and making occasional good passes. His Bball IQ won't make him any bigger or taller to block shots.
Play making is the least they need for their big man when you got Steph, KD, and Green at the same time. The REAL reason GSW offense seems off along with the horrible defense is not because of KD's presence. But it is because the spacing isn't what it used to be. The system really created GSW. Zaza isn't doing anything to help with spacing. He just seems to be a big hole.
I mean at least McGee's presence is felt easily with his size and aggressiveness to block shots and dunk/alley-oop.
I'm pretty sure Kerr sincerely misses Bogut's big ass illegal screens, which created wide open 3-pointers and spacing.
Zaza better get his shit together before All-Star break or else I would like to see McGee either starting or playing heavy minutes.

Re: McGee > Zaza
I have a hard time not imagining McGee looking lost on the defensive end
