but even at that...Kobe was voted in a Landslide as the best player of his generation....it wasn't even close....



Lebron is a better basketball player with a better skillset then Shaq.....just as Jordan vs Russell.....despite not winning anywhere close to the same amount ...

It was the greatest of the decade. Considering all of Duncan's career was this decade and all of Shaq's accomplishments were this decade and LeBron was voted by a fair margin over them.

#1. All of Shaq's acomplishments came with Kobe as arguably the best player in the NBA and 90% came in the first 2 - 3 years of the 00's....

Lebron is a 2X League MVP with one of the most Hyped up exciting stories in NBA History and has been a top 3 - 5 player for over the last 5 years..


Lebron was only voted 4% over Shaq and 8% over Tim....Lebron got 17% of the Votes...


Kobe got 58% of the votes...you make it seem like this is something new....



in the 80's Magic was widely viewed as a better player then Kareem after only 7 years....Jordan after his first 9 years was considered better then Russell, Kareem and Bird....Lebron considered better then Shaq after 7 years is nearly the same thing...
