And I would call it rather unfair to judge cam this harsh this early considering his stats which aren't all that bad.
Imagine if Cam was in San Fran or Seattle. FROM DAY ONE he was asked much more of him than Russell Wilson or Kaep or Griff are even today as a passer. He's played only three games this season, two of which he played well in. 6:2 TD-INT ratio with a +90 passer rating so far this year is not enough evidence to say the man has failed. If the Panthers were 2-1 right now instead of 1-2 this thread wouldn't even exist.
I agree with you. Plus besides the instability from coaching he's been playing behind a line that is average at best and he only really has 2 dependable receiving options; 34 year old Steve Smith and his tight end Olsen.
And even with all that in mind he still produces. Yes his record hasn't been great, but many of those losses have not been his fault. Just look at the 2 L's this year; had Deangelo not fumbled down 12 to 7 with us driving in the 4th quarter against Seattle and if Luke Kuechly didn't get a pass interference penalty that nullified an interception on the play before the game-winning TD against Buffalo we would be 3-0.

After Smith got shaken up last game Cam started looking for his other receivers and dominating. Smith was even mad and throwing up his arms after Cam threw a touchdown pass to Lafell.
Also agree with this. Its weird because when Cam got drafted I expected Smith to be his biggest fan, but its always seemed as if he's been the quickest player on the team to criticize Cam.
