I have said multiple times Phil Jackson was a poor player and is an extremely overrated coach. He stole his x's and o's directly from Tex Winter and Jordan and Kobe were the leaders of his teams.

Kobe had a decent front court, they were no where near "dominant" as you would like to say. If you watched that game 7, it was a battle where Kobe was injured and facing one of the best team defenses in the Modern Era. Kobe was having a hard time scoring due to the reasons mentioned above but still was able to gut out a gritty performance getting 15 rebounds and playing incredible defense. His shot wasn't falling but he dug deep and found other ways to impact the game when his team needed him most and lead them to the win. Guess who had the best +/- on the Lakers for that game 7?
