There's no damage control for winning a ring.

The damage control was for his 6-24 shooting.

You are insane. You went from calling Kobe's front court dominant in one post to asking if his front-court is bad in the next post.

The correct answer is somewhere in-between, a front-court of pau, odom, bynum (when he actually played) was effective. A dominant front court would be the Celtics of Mchale/Bird/Parrish. Do you see the difference?

Kobe was rather efficient from 08-10 (reg season and post-season).

I have said multiple times Phil Jackson was a poor player and is an extremely overrated coach. He stole his x's and o's directly from Tex Winter and Jordan and Kobe were the leaders of his teams.

Kobe had a decent front court, they were no where near "dominant" as you would like to say. If you watched that game 7, it was a battle where Kobe was injured and facing one of the best team defenses in the Modern Era. Kobe was having a hard time scoring due to the reasons mentioned above but still was able to gut out a gritty performance getting 15 rebounds and playing incredible defense. His shot wasn't falling but he dug deep and found other ways to impact the game when his team needed him most and lead them to the win. Guess who had the best +/- on the Lakers for that game 7? Kobe Bryant (http://www.basketball-reference.com/...006170LAL.html)

Do you think LeBron would be able to pull out a performance of that caliber? We all know LeBron has no mental toughness and as soon as his bread and butter offense stops working and he faces adversity he mentally checks out of the game and concedes. He has done it literally dozens of times and it is a huge reason for the fact of "2 of 6".

Can you imagine Lebron giving the same excuses? He would be completely trashed. Not only that but they would say his ring didn't count because his team bailed him out against the 4th or 5th seeded Celtics.

Yes , he has no piece w|out injuries in his body when he getting his last 2 rings .

Think with him w|out his 08-10 era , top 20 All time at best . He had one of the hardest work ethic in nba history at those days

Lebron shot left handed free throws because his elbow hurt while x rays showed no damage at all.

So I'm going to assume that we would have been hearing every excuse in the world for Lebron if he was playing with a broken right index finger on his shooting hand for the entire playoffs..
