How do people say the regular season isn't exciting?
Western Conference
Golden State 39-9
Memphis 37-13
Houston 35-15
Portland 34-16
Dallas 34-18
LA Clippers 33-18
San Antonio 32-18
The difference between 7th and 2nd is literally the outcome of three games.
If San Antonio won three that they lost, they'd be sitting at 35-15, good for 3rd in the West. The playoff race is THAT CLOSE. The difference between 1 and 7 is 8 games.
Every game matters out west. Every one. That is exciting to watch.

I can see the Spurs beating Memphis, Clippers beating Blazers, even OKC if they get their shit together beating the Warriors, the difference in quality of these teams is practically non existent, it's unpredictable and exiting as f*ck. Who match ups with who will be critical come playoff time, that being said, just making the playoffs gives you a realistic chance for the title.
Not like the East that we know it's gonna be Cavs vs Hawks.

Re: How do people say the regular season isn't exciting?
The East has slowly become just as entertaining for me as the West.
The Hawks and Cavs dominance.
Pacers could snag the 8th with a possible PG return? 1st round upset?
Heat with a healthy Bosh/Wade/Whiteside.
The Hornets getting back to the old school grind basketball.
Detroit Magic.
Bulls/Wiz/Raptors no longer look like top four teams, will they make a move before the deadline?
And finally the Young Bucks and their success despite a heavily depleted roster. I already forgot Jabari Parker and Larry Sanders were core parts of this team. I look for them to upset any West powerhouse on any given night.

Easily entertained if you find some of that exciting.
