There are countless reasons why an investigation into my past would be possible. It's unlikely, but not worth the risk.

I dont get this. If there's countless reasons to investigate you then why are you worried about the repercussions of drugs? At the physical examination you can have needle scars up and down your arms, they might ask you again and make you double down, but nothing after that. As long as there's no ink and no record, if you say you never touched a joint then you never touched a joint.
