Why Jordan is better than Kobe.

Simple question for "If Kobe wins at least two more rings he'll be in MJ company" types.

Why wouldn't Tim Duncan be there too if he wins 5 titles, doing so as the MVP of all those championship teams? And anchoring the winningest team in sports for like the last 10 years?

Why would Kobe deserve to be in MJ's league with 5 rings, when he would have two rings as "the man", and two as "the sidekick", unlike Duncan?

Keep in mind that Kobe has played 784 games and started in 636 so he is way past half way to MJ in total minutes played, MJ played in 1072 games.

Heres one thing i thought of when i saw this and then remembered that kobe averaged 15 minutes his 1st year and had 91 assists total throughout the entire season. Therefore its safe to say that he had around 80 games with less than 3 assists, right? And probably some with 0 assists..This just jumped out to me as something that the guy who made this decided to overlook.

Which Is usually what I think of when i see this guys stuff. Fact is he detests Kobe and would not allow anything that made Kobe look halfway decent make it onto his list of stuff. We all know Jordan is the GOAT, that should be obvious to most people, and at least all the people on this forum who obviously have an extra thirst and knowledge for the game.

But I dont understand his point. It seems more of a "Kobe sucks" point that hes trying to make. Im sure some of these numbers will be closer eventually; Kobe is 28 years old. Jordan was 39 when he retired. For lack of time and have other thing to doness ill only go through some of the stuff below.

Im going to assume Kobe will play as the #1 til hes 34-35. Hes 28 now. Lets say 350 more regular season games. you can roughly multiply his numbers by .55 and add that to the original number in order to hypothetically arrive to a figure that he will end up with.

Games with 10+ assists
Air Jordan: 76
Kobe Bean Bryant: 52 81

Games with 5+ assists
Air Jordan: 587
Kobe Bean Bryant: 353 547

Games with less than 3 assists
Air Jordan: 150

But just because he ends up close in some categories doesnt mean he will end up close to Jordan. Stats dont say everything.
