Dude, how are you comparing stupid high school teenage cheerleaders that are trying to win a popularity contest to true life-long friendships? Of course vapid, surface level high school friendships that are based on trying to be the most impressive of your peers are dumb, but true friendship lasts a lifetime.

Don't get me wrong, the goal to achieve and leave a legacy is a very noble and important ambition, but so the f*ck are having close friends and family.

Kobe is very close to his family, and there are always life long friends who are select and few. That doesn't change the fact that most people go on through life trying to impress stupid people. Kobe is also not going to develop life long friendships with players coming and going.

That's definitely not Jordan's mentality. People like to comment that he's some psychotic teammate because certain intense in the heat of the moment situations and because he yells, but the guy is rather loyal.

Jordan strikes me as a guy who lives in the moment, and would go visit people from his past if he happens to be around.
