It's funny that everyone is going batshit over Bosh now after 3 games, when he started out his last year in Toronto with these stats through 13 games: 27, 12, 2, on 51%. I couldn't imagine the board if he had these numbers by Thanksgiving this year, the entire first page would be Bosh related

If Kareem wins 6 MVPs does that hurt Magic Johnson's legacy? Does it knock him out of the top 10?

If Kareem played like sh*t with Magic it would, especially if half of his legacy was "making players around him better".

Lebron's iso ball makes crap players decent.....

    and great players.....decent.

What did you expect of Bosh with Bron in the team? 20 and 10?

I'm guessing the dream team made each other all worse too since they didn't average nearly the amount any of them were all accustomed to. Bunch of no good iso players, right?

Yes, Bosh was less effective. No one is denying that. There was good reason for it too. Because he was the 3rd best player on the team, hence he put up the 3rd best stats, and he got to use the ball the 3rd most amount on the team.

Lebron iso ball? Lebron is the one who promoted movement in our system. He's one of the best team players in the game, and a reason we were top 2 every year outside the first one together in total passes on offense.

He was less effective because he had to take a role that suited Lebron's limitations as a player.

That they archived success in the east means nothing to me. They were so talented that even Lebron diminishing effect on his all-star teammates could not stop them from winning games (although not to the extent that was projected when they came together).

Of course there is a diminishing effect, and it has nothing to do with Lebron. You think if Kobe, Carmelo and Bosh played on the same team that they would be utilizing Bosh as much and he would be putting up 20/10?
    No, the answer is no.

Fact is Bron helped Bosh put up career high FG% and 3PT% numbers. No one expected 20/10 from Bosh in the big 3. No one wanted it either. You want your best players taking the shots. The ones who are more efficient. That is Bron and D Wade.

Your argument has nothing to stand on. This coming from a Heat fan who just had Bron leave his favourite team.

If Dwight wins MVP does it kick Kobe out of the top 20 since Kobe turned Dwight into a basic screen setter and Kobe could only get the 7th seed with him?

it will already be quite the stain on lebron's legacy if bosh was nothing but a spot up shooter with him and when he leaves bosh becomes an mvp candidate.

if bosh actually gets it? that is enough to knock lebron out of the top 20.

who couldn't win 2 titles with a finals mvp and another mvp candidate on his team? hell kobe won 2 with just one all star. give him bosh and wade and he would 3 peat easily and would come much closer to beating san antonio this year, would be hell of a lot closer than the worst finals loss in nba history.

Not if they played a system.

    Stats.

And the way Bosh play now.

Lebron did not make his teammates better. Not Wade. Not Bosh.

    Fact

It doesn't take any weight any from his legacy. But it would make the 2011-2014 Heat more stacked than they already are.

LOL oh the glory days of ISH

Back when everyone thought Bosh would win the MVP leading the Heat to the Conference Finals

Truth is the Heat are arguably the worst team in the league without LeBron

If Bosh was actually healthy and we landed Dragic sooner, would've made the 2nd round for sure.

    BTW, don't you hate LeBron?
