What happened to Avery Bradley?

He went from the best man to man defender in the league a few years ago to a guy with negative impact on defense being shuffled from team to team.

Also he was a decent scorer just two years ago, but has averaged 9 points per game since leaving Boston. Hes showing signs of life on the offensive end for Memphis in a small sample but defense is still worse with him playing.

I don't recall him suffering any serious injuries tbh.

Allen left because he was pissed at being put on the trade market in the past and he wanted a better shot at a ring. He didn't join Miami to become a starter, they had Wade.

Iverson had a steep decline that fnal year in Denver leading up to his trading. In Detroit he shot 41.6% to average 17.5 points. This is in 2009, when volume scoring had gone out of style. A volume scoring small guard like Iverson has a hard time when he starts to lose his athleticism and quickness. Iverson could have stuck around a little longer if he had been religious about taking care of his body but bottom line no one like that has been good after their prime. And at his best the rest of the roster still had to compensate for Iverson defensively. So if he isn't dominating as a scorer he isn't worth playing which the league proceeded to figure out from that point on.

There are two problems here. First, as pointed out, Bradley can shoot. Two, now apparently hes not good on defense anymore. This one remains a mystery as to why.

28 yrs old, 518 games, it all adds up esp when you have earned 39 million dollars the past 11 years. I used to think Courtney Lee was a very good defender too but these guys also need fast feet to keep in step with quick guards. I predict Marcus Smart will not be as good in defending after 5 years or so

You're joking right? Knee injury or not, Tony Allen was a complete buffoon on the offensive end. He had a terrible BBIQ on that end. Should have been a Wade like player...jesus christ.
