KD or Russ who has been the better player against Warriors?

I think most would agree Russ was better against Dallas and KD was better against SA

against the warriors tho its close

Biggest advantage for Russ is his playmaking obviously. Kevin while missing makable shots still has better scoring numbers. Russ has been good on defense but Kevin has been DPOY caliber

He also has taken Draymond out of the series so far (0/11 FG, 5 turnovers when guarded by Kevin, last night Klay went off for 19 on 6/9 FG then Kevin got put on him and he got shut down, 1-6 after). Hes been playing KG defense when he plays the 4 and has protected the rim extremely well

Russ has played good D out on the perimeter and his transition attack he leads has been vital to OKC success

Regarding OP, its pretty close. i think westbrook has been more impactful on offense, especially with his amazing playmaking and elite offensive rebounding. KD has had solid games, especially in the first halves, where he normally sets the tone with his scoring.

But defensively im mind blown with the impact of KD, Green is absolutely shook and KD is the major reason why. he has been doing great in the perimeter bothering curry and klay too. I've seen him as a good defender, great at times, but he always had those lapses especially off-ball, but i didnt know he had this capability of locking down this hard for a whole series and have near DPOY impact. He wont be winning DPOYs and be regularly on ALL-D teams, but its good to know he can do this on the playoffs when it matters, its a clear sign of maturation.

I think its a tie imo, and OKC needs them both to play like this to get through GSW and win in the finals
