Shaq is Goat on my Prime List Now

He has finally retired and let me edit my current Prime list to this

1.Shaq
2.Kareem/Jordan
3.Magic
4.Bird

I thought he would do it next year but the Big AARP is now out of the NBA and hopefully going to be apart of TNT.

What do you guys think?

Shaq is the only guy on this list who was a HUGE liability in game closing situations.........Or did you forget the "Hack-a-Shaq" strategy????
This often forced the ball out of his hands and thankfully into Kobe, Horry, Fisher hands, guys who could actually knock down shots....and free throws.
Often Shaq wouldn't even want the ball for fear of choking free throws.
The rest of the guys on the list had no such problem.
It's all about closing and getting it done.......use this season as an example......ask Chicago, OKC, even the Heat how important is it to CLOSE a game. Not saying in any way that Shaq wasn't dominant or great.....but that kind of liability drops him.

I disagree. If his prime were as good as MJ and Kareem's then he would have won more than 1 league mvp. And missing too many games yearly will not give him that.

Hack a Shaq was a joke play that was barely ever used and only publicized because of its stupidity.

Also he was a center and most coaches would not want their CENTER to be taking FT's for a game no matter who they were. Also those other players did not receive half the triple teams that shaq received because he was so dominate.
