Lin spends more time promoting "Lin" the brand than improving his game. This is a guy who the offseason he was supposed to be out improving for the Rockets ran camps in Taiwan and filmed a documentary. He got the invite to the US select practice and couldn't go but made it to the ESPY's the same day.

Say what you will about his game but I'm not giving him props for not promoting himself, he promotes himself as much as he plays.

But if the Lakers were in the Eastern Conference, they'd be able to get a 3-4 seed. Lin is a tremendous asset to the team and I wouldn't be surprised to see him be an All Star within 2-3 years.

I think he could put up 18/8 or 19/7 type numbers at his peak personally. Fringe all star who will be voted in over more deserving players due to his popularity. I'm realistic about it.
