Lol at the stans who only looks at 5 rangz and 28 PPG and nothing else

If you don't have higher standards for Kobe than this it's actually sad

His sucking this season is too obvious. On offence, defence and as a chemistry killer.

Last game was a big leap in right direction doe, so there's that.

After all, who else can hit shots other than him?

Instead, with Bryant out of the picture, the Lakers have run good stuff and have gotten healthy, open looks from the supporting cast. The result? They're scoring 109.5 points per 100 possessions with the future Hall of Famer on the bench. The team's assist rate climbs from 51.7 percent with Bryant up to 56.5 percent without him.

Any casual viewer knows that the Lakers have mostly been blowout-city with Bryant on the floor. The Lakers are minus-120 this season in 385 minutes with Bryant on-court. Not competitive. However, the Bryant-less Lakers aren't just competing -- they're winning. In the 143 minutes that Bryant has watched from the bench, the Lakers are plus-20, or plus-6.4 every 100 possessions. In fact, the Lakers' six most-used lineups without Bryant have all outscored the opponent this season. Every single one.

Shocking, right? Well, not really if you look beyond Bryant's lore. It isn't rocket science to surmise that having a 38.9 percent shooter soak up just about half the shots may be a bad idea. The notion that the Lakers don't have any talent to lean on simply isn't true.

Any team will be better if they're sharing the ball over time. His team can't get better with him ball hogging.

We're tanking for our pick back. Why is it so hard to understand? WE DON'T WANT TO WIN THIS SEASON. It's for the betterment of the TEAM to lose. Wanting Kobe to play better goes AGAINST THE GRAIN of what we're trying to accomplish this season. The Suns ****ed us, we're trying to **** them back. It's that simple. Kobe scoring points, the Lakers losing, developing Clarkson and Randle and keeping our first rounder were the ONLY objectives this season. No more than 3 players not named Kobe or the rookies are coming back next year anyways, so **** the chemistry.
