Default Is it safe to say Washington shouldn't have let go of Paul Pierce?

With Washington now out of the playoffs, were they sorely missing Pierce this year?

    You could say that.

The veteran leadership cannot be overstated.

They should have fired their coach last season. Especially if you're going to make him run a different offensive system anyways.

Pierce chose to leave. If they were that reliant on him they were doomed anyway, the man is nearly retired.

Wiz coach sucks and just immediately changed their gameplan or system. Injuries from the start.

Wall needs to get outta there

    We didn't have a choice.

He definitely added some balls to this squad. This season we did not have an above average shot creator outside of Wall....and Wall isn't an above average jumpshooter so that's a bad recipe for success.
