First of all it don't work on account of matching salaries.

Second of all OKC as an organization is unwilling to spend money (that's why they lost Harden).

Why would an organization unwilling to give Harden 60 mil, take on Love and Thompson for a combined 160 mil?

I don't think Durant wants to go to Cleveland. He has a competitive streak in him. He's not part of the basketball mafia like Paul, Wade, Lebron, Melo. He considers himself an outsider compared to guys like that. Paul would team up with Lebron but Durant wants to play and win on his own terms.
