Hibbert would be a max contract player if he could score 18+ points a game on small ball teams like Miami for a whole 7 games series. The only way you are scoring big on miami is if you can shoot the basketball or you have 2 skilled big men like girzzlies do.
Miami is not great at defending 3 pt. shots. they are great at denying ball to certain players inside. If you can't catch it, how will you put it in the basket?

Either foul trouble, Heat perimeter D, or nothing. Last year, it was perimeter D preventing easy feeds inside. If Miami hadn't been so disruptive from Game 4 on, they would have lost. So if Hibbert and West can get the ball inside consistently and exploit their advatage, then the Heat will lose.

Miami has much better D than NYK for starters. They also have birdman now who will be disruptive down low and aggravate Hibbert. Any Lakers fan bringing up refs is the definition of hypocrisy. Too many examples to mention. Remember the nearly 60 free throws late in the season you guys shot just to get into the playoffs.

Hibbert will be in foul trouble most of the time. He was allowed to stand in the middle all day like it was college and hack and wack with so called " verticality" vs the knicks. Guaranteed they start calling fouls on him vs the heat. Plus he is garbage anyway.
