His weed habit does effect him a little bit
He's much more of an introvert than even young Kobe
That mixed with being a quiet stoner who just likes to chill
He's much more team minded because of all of this
Whereas Mr Bright and Bubbly Steph Curry is all extra family man no liquor no weed no loose women and is an extrovert thus...
The reason why we have 2 lights out shooters of equal ability (Klay is a better pure shooter btw) yet one is in the Jordan convo(stupidly) and the other is just a perennial all star at his worst

Because Klay is busy with defensive drills

Due to Klay Thomspon's height and build I doubt he could ever be as agile as Curry. That's what is needed to be that good. Having great handles isn't enough. Kyrie has handles, Jamal Crawford has handles, neither have the agility of Curry when he dribbles in traffic.

Durant is a good example too, 6'11 with good handles and great agility that few possesize at his size.

Why didnt you, OP?
What a dumb question... not everyone can do things as good as a top 10 GOAT
Klay not nearly as talented

Top 10.

Literally
Any player can turn into steph curry when given the INSTITUTIONALIZED level of confidence he's given from all levels
Media
Organizational (systematic chucking)
Promotional (Under Armour + AdamSilver NBA rule changes)
Racial (middle America is pulling for his success and puts his family all over TV)
the perfect storm for the most perfect imperfect player in steph
Remember J Lin?
Confidence on all levels can create the perfect storm
Remember at the end of the day
It's just throwing a ball into a basket as best as possible
Tons of ways you can do it and millions of people are all equally effective at it when they're in there groove
But even if you have all the confidence in the world and you can shoot like Stephen
It still doesn't matter if you haven't won over..
The media, your organization, the league office and outside sponsors, and middle America
And yall ****** really thought this shit was X's and O's and about basketball?
Lol funny
Are you slamming your head to hit the enter key every time you type a few words or what? What the **** is wrong with you?

Re: Why doesn't Klay Thomson follow Curry's training regime?
maybe he is?
He's 25. How much worse is he than 25 year old Curry?
Maybe he'll be the GOAT in 2 years.

Klay still has a great shot but he isn't capable of consistently hitting pull-up 32 footers like Curry can, and his handles are still bad.
Why doesn't Klay follow Curry's training blueprint for greatness? What is stopping him? He may never be as great as Curry but what's stopping him from training his handles like Curry did?
Who the hell else can? This is some dumb ass typical Nick Young logic.

Re: Why doesn't Klay Thomson follow Curry's training regime?
Anybody see Curry participating in those "reflex" tests? Basically he works with a motion sensor, and wherever it blinks on the board, he taps it while simultaneously dribbling, working on handles with his off hand.
The purpose of the exercise is to take your mind off dribbling, focusing on whatever action might present itself on the basketball floor.
His reflexes are off the charts, by the way.

Klay even said at the championship parade about steph
"You want to hate the guy but he makes it difficult most of the time"
And this is in public to your superstar teammate who everyone loves and they have a weak talking relationship to begin with
I'm telling you
Klay definitely thinks curry is a ballhog but he's too team oriented and humble to make a fuss
See klays body language when steph got ripped by gallo, disgusted at the level of hoggery and selfishness of curry at such a crucial moment that he had to let it out
