well from 2005-2007 the lakers were rebuilding

from 2011 to 2016 lebron was colluding and kobe was on the decline or basically semi retired from an achilles rupture

and from 2008 to 2010 kobe was hurt a lot during the regular season and dealing with hand/knee injuries

he won in the playoffs in spite of all his problems but for the most part lebrons teams had a clear advantage

however 1 on 1 kobe dominated lebron

so kobe had more empty stats? got it. LeBron impacted the game with stats and actually winning.

you do realize empty stats are ones where a guy is just collecting them easly... mostly in garbage time or against defenders that aren't very good because they don't care and it has no effect on the outcome

if thats the case then you're saying lebron was either incapable or didn't have the desire

in either case that doesn't look too good for him

The most important stat is winning right?

no.. the most important thing is context

for instance.. kobe won his regular season career matchups vs MJ

but we give it context and say half of them came when MJ was old... and another chunk came when shaq was the leading scorer

so we know it isn't just about wins and losses.

its not kobe fans who invented the "horry has 7" argument. that was you and your faction of complete imbeciles

except all of lebrons rings are full of major asterisks.

even just one of these would void them. but he has them all

    - ring chasing
    - collusion
    - pay cuts
    - tampering
    - lockouts
    - bail outs
    - called in favors
    - called in suspensions
    - roid usage

he makes barry bonds look like a saint

and btw... you say 1st option rings... guess who led the lakers in FGA's during the 2001 and 2002 seasons and playoffs

shaq was slightly more efficient and had a higher average in the finals vs bums. but kobe was technically the #1 go to guy by the numbers

But only 2 as the true alpha

Alpha rings is what separates the Robert Horrys of the world to Michael Jordan

Kobe unfortunately only has 2 rings so it's impossible to rank him over someone like LeBron who has 3 alpha rings
