They are each facing the defender, as if they were playing on ball defense, so if somebody tries to hack DJ, then they can take the hit instead and go to the line themselves. Deandre is in the centre, dribbling the ball, while Chris Paul leads the charge and calls the play using gridiron football like code-language depending on the situation.

With a lot of practice they could ramp up the speed/complexity, so that the diamond around deandre is moving around freely around the court as if it were a player itself.
