Anything at this point would be an upgrade from Betsy Devos

He's probably as qualified as the DeVos.

You don't understand.

He might literally be as qualified as the current Secretary.

I'll only consider it once he stops saying things like:

"We was" and "Axe"

If you're going to be SECRETARY OF EDUCATION, you must first learn to speak properly.

As of right now, I think Enes Kanter speaks better English than LeBron.

It's an extremely multifaceted issue, but yeah, probably so.

Freedom & common sense restrictions in the name of equality is a pretty big idea/movement that is permeating throughout society.

Our educational system is broken and teachers fail to teach kids how to think... they have to think the way written in textbooks or it's wrong, despite the fact that in objective reality, it often isn't. They want you to arrive at answers the way predetermined by the state, hah.

The Internet, also, continues to rob people of the ability to think. Google provides easy and fast answers but consuming information in that way on the regular literally rewires your brain to skim through information quickly in search of what your brain considers to be relevant, at which time heaping amounts of information is glossed over and omitted from your consciousness.

Mass media is another one that teaches people what to think. I'm not sure it's some grand conspiracy as much as it is people desperate for inflammatory information being pushed through consumers' screens 24/7/365 in order to draw people in, because people are naturally drawn to drama. They consistently focus on bad shit to keep people enraged and watching.

Humanity is full of retards. I would put the human race at the 90-95% range in terms of being absolutely clueless.

I like Osborne Cox.

"You see, you're one of the morons I've been fighting my whole life. My whole, ****ing, life."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asNyBvsM-6Q

"No, I'm sorry, I don't know the number to, uh, my savings account, because believe it or not, I don't spend my entire days sitting around trying to memorize the fucking numbers, to my fucking bank accounts. Moron!"

All that being said, honestly, I've said this before and I'll say it again... if you were to turn off your phone, computer, tv & not read the paper... your entire perception of life and the people around you would probably change for the better. Again, all of those are mediums that lead to readily available inflammatory material, which is what naturally stands out.

Anyhow...

Thousands would probably sign petition for Brad Pitt as US Secretary of Education if it's made. So what?

LeBron has already done more for schools than any Secretary of Education can. This is actually a step down for him.
