I don't disagree, but I do disagree on Wiggins being that player.

Thanks for explaining your position on this... even if I don't agree, I can see where you're coming from.

Only Sixers fans can be as dumb to not want to become instant favorites to win the chip with only one move

Even with that move it doesn't make us instant favorites. You still have the Warriors, Rockets and Celtics and others who could cause trouble for us.

I would like to have Butler and wouldn't mind trading Covington + more if he were healthy and on a longer deal. Butler could just decide to punch out like Kawhi did and sign elsewhere after the season.

You don't know how it will play out, this isn't 2k. Getting Butler could be great but it could also just stunt the growth of Simmons and Embiid who both project to be better than Butler ever hass and will probably by next year if not the year after. He certainly didn't help Towns and Wiggins.

He could be one, more than anyone Clippers have atm, or anyone out there that is available. It is gambling on his potential but everything is a gamble these days. You take risks you may end up screwing up, but you dont and you will be screwed anyway.

I'd much rather gamble on SEGA with his rookie deal, than spend 5x as much for someone that's past his rookie deal and is yet to show franchise player potential.

Not to mention, sacrificing cap space. Wiggins' salary is so bad, I wouldn't give up Gallo for him straight up.
