ha I laughed. I was coming in to say that my great pyrenees was bred to be outside in cold weather. She loves it. Not that she is forced to stay out overnight, but she certainly could.

yeah, really didnt know anything about them. Found a stay hairless puppy on the side of the road, tried to get it healthy so that someone would take it in, but fell in love. Like Falcor the luckdragon (never ending story). So gentle with their flock, but very protective and territorial. We have lived in a ton of places with cattle fencing, and she would patrol that boundary 4-6 times a day, very rarely crossing it.
