Avery is all about match ups. He's a smart coach. He's going to be going over every piece of footage and looking at every little thing they did wrong.
He had his time to think that through when GSW swept the Mavs in the reg season. Whats sad is GSW didnt even play a perfect game, far from it actually, and still won by double digits.
How far did offense get Nelson when he had Dirk and Nash? Exactly.
But Nelson wasn't matched up against a team and a coach that he knows everything about. He knows Dirk better than Avery does, it's not a coincidence why Dirk struggles against Nellie's team, he has him figured out. Not saying the Warriors are going very deep, but they'll beat the Mavs.

As LD said, Nelson owns Avery.
Playoffs are a different animal. Players will listen more when he yells at them. Regular season means jack ****. It's been illustrated many times over.

This is why the Mavs winning 25 more games during the regular season is irrelevant. Playoffs is all about matchups, adjustments, coaching, wanting it more. GS trumps Mavs in all of these categories, we saw it in Game 1 and we'll see it throughout the whole series. The Warriors are the aggressors, they have nothing to lose, the Mavs are playing scared.

he runs a double at dirk from dirks blind side. san antonio has done that to dirk his whole career. the only difference is nelly did something ive never seen a coach do for an entire game and something that kblaze assured me was impossible. he doubles dirk on literally every touch. it might work for a game or two but despites fabs comments to the contrary, dallas will figure it out. dirk would have had a triple double in game 1 if devin or stack could make a layup.
Baller1986, And this is why you're PB. In your other posts you sound like a freaking foreign exchange student and now you're MR. coherent? Get the **** outta here, you now have 4 usernames that we know of, wow this is getting sad.
Baller1986 and his many psudonyms are single handedly (or as a group for the bipolar) ruining this board with their nonsense
