Because children need fathers, and when men want to "fuck" they ditch the responsibility of the child they accidentally helped conceive it more times than not. Which whether you believe in God or not, is the wrong thing to do.

Yes it is. It's still a risk and it's not 100%. You're trying to prevent something that you don't want, but the true way to prevent it is not to do it at all and man up and don't take that step. The pill? It's a crutch. The condom? It's a crutch. The shot? It's a crutch. All these things help prevent a mistake you don't want, but in the end you still take a risk whether it's small or not. And in the end it's a crutch or excuse to have sex more regularly with no strings attached.
