Lebron never persevered like Giannis must do with Middleton, or Curry did with Klay
Historically, guys like Duncan were expected to persevere with struggling teams or old teammates like Manu - they couldn't pack their bags and hand-pick a new super-team (coddled) like Lebron..
Lebron has never persevered - he always abandoned struggling or old teams and hand-picked a super-team (coddled).
In contrast, MJ built up a lottery team that persevered past the Pistons and then he rolled the dice in 95' by returning to a borderline .500 team - he proceeded to 3-peat despite 36-year Rodman averaging 3/8 for the entire 97' Playoffs or coming off the bench in 98', while Pippen averaged 17 ppg for the 96-98' Playoffs with the worst efficiency in playoff history.
It's unfortunate that Lebron requires coddling and cannot persevere because he only won 2 chips in 9 seasons since leaving Miami.. So was it worth it??.. People forget that Wade was an all-star in 2016 and nearly led the Heat to the ECF, so guys like Klay and Middleton are more washed-up than Wade, aka it's a complete coddling to leave Wade and this is true for his entire career - Lebron wasn't even required to prove himself to get generational wealth because he was gifted $100 million before taking a single NBA dribble.

He was given $100 million before ever dribbling a basketball, so he didn't have to prove himself or persevere to get generational wealth.
Then he didn't persevere in Cleveland because of the "decision" to leave
Then he left Miami when Wade started producing like Pippen and record loss
Then he left Cleveland after another record loss
Then he shipped out the entire Laker team TWICE to manufacture 2 chips
There's zero perseverence there
The lack of perseverance is tied to his skilset - his abnormal ball-dominance for his size/position imposes spot-up roles, which stalls young players, thereby needing ready-made stars to win (can't win organically).. His imposition of spot-up roles doesn't develop teammates, chemistry or elite strategy needed to win organically or have the highest team ceilngs/Finals records

I guess I won't be banning myself because you failed to give me any instances of Lebron persevering without hand-picking a new super-team

Aren't there better guys to illustrate this point like Hakeem and Dirk. Why would you pick a guy that had a title by year two and four in 10 years? Not seeing the perserverance there.

Kobe had fat Shaq, MJ had a below-average offensive player as a #2 for the 2nd 3-Peat in Pippen. Bran left as soon as Wade showed signs of decline.

Love stats Pre-LeBron - 26/13/2/59% TS
Bosh stats Pre-LeBron - 24/11/2/59% TS
Pau stats Pre-Kobe - 19/8/3/59% TS
It's safe to say that Kevin Love and Chris Bosh were better than Pau Gasol before they joined with their new teams
LeBron needed Bosh and Love as third options when he won
Kobe had Paul Gasol as a second option when he won

Re: Lebron never persevered like Giannis must do with Middleton, or Curry did with Kl
Unlike Curry and Giannis, Lebron didn't stay in his comfort zone getting easy chips. He chose to go the hard road and go to teams with losing records and give them a ring. After he handed it to them, he went on to the next challenge. He could've very well have stayed with Miami and just reinforce the roster every year and win 10 easy rings, but he chose to challenge himself.
Look how easy it was for Durant to take over the Warriors and win 2 rings with them, put anyone in there and it's easy rings, it's bc it's a well oiled years built-up team that just got better and better. The hard part is going somewhere else and build from scratch. Durant, Kyrie, etc learned it the hard way. Now they know what Lebron did, winning with 3 different teams and picking them when they were like 30-50, is insane!

Bronie fluffers can't stand the fact that LeShrivel always tried taking the easy road, and that's a black mark on his legacy. There's a reason why Jordan's still consensus GOAT despite all Bronie's longevity stats.
