Re: Prediction: Anthony Davis wins first MVP this season
It's not going to happen. The Pels are a 7-8th seed at best in the West and the MVP usually is awarded to someone on a top 2 seed.

There are 5 teams clearly better in the west.
Unless they're healthy and someone like Gordon turns into an all-star.
Davis could be the best player in the league league next the year but it might not not result in any hardware

What's next, you're gonna tell me Derrick Rose is a clutch God because he banked in a game winner at the buzzer against the Cavs?
Come up with something original.. this is like the 4th time someones responded to me with this garbage. Your 5th grade mind is barely enough to get my attention. You think I'm soft yet I don't know anything about you. And it's gonna stay that way.
Get his ugly ass!

I wouldnt be suprised at 5th. I doubt it will happen, but I wouldnt be suprised.
right now, im projecting them at 6th.
Health wise, really, only Jrue has a lingering injury I think.
Even if they stay exactly the same, talent wise, and health wise, a faster/smarter system will probably make them comfortably better than Memphis.
Now if Davis takes a next leap (offensively, he is nearly at that ATG big man threshold)
