Dwight Howard and Chris Bosh - Best friends off the court. Talk to each other everyday, play with each other all off season, have said they want to play together one day down the line (aka would be champions).

Sprewell and Camby. Used to spend summers in each others' houses, with their respective families coming along (though not sure they still do that).

Funny thing is that they didn't know about each other until they started having some success in basketball (around the time they were in highschool I recall, but not sure).
Speaking of Carter, what's his current relationship with Jamison? Both from the same college, same draft class, were traded for each other in that draft night -and were best amigos at the time- plus their wives are sisters. I don't know if they are still close friends, but always thought that's a pretty unique relationship.

Right because Carter has missed all of 23 games the last 5 seasons.
Anyway I think Shaq and Gary Payton are good friends. Payton followed him to Los Angeles and Miami.
