This isn't even taking into account the other notable players that were injured throughout their playoff run.
Tyreke Evans
Tony Allen
Donatas Motiejunas
Kevin Love
Anderson Varejao

Curry's the luckiest man in the world.
Westbrook would have devoured him

They should have, yes, but thread isn't fair.
1. They're a young jumpshooting team, first year in the finals.
2. They don't have a Shaq or a Duncan to dump it into when the team gets cold.
3. The best player in the league is on the other side, and he's made the Finals 5 straight years.
It's to be expected that they should drop a game in the Finals. The threepeat Lakers dropped a game to the Sixers in the Finals; they also let go a 3-0 series lead against the Blazers. This happens to great teams who are just starting to be great.
Now, as for the injuries, you need to realize that this is the first year this Warriors team has been healthy in the postseason. Normally it's they who are decimated by injuries. Having to play without Bogut is much harder than having to play without Patrick Beverley. Curry has had injury issues throughout his career as well. Warriors are by no means voodoo artists.
In their *first year* as a great team, history only cares whether they win or not.
