Re: Before game 7, before you judge Lebron, take a look at this chart
Mark this down. As long as the Heat play like this, They will not beat the Spurs in the Finals. That is not winning basketball. Lebron is a ball stopper on offense, he holds on the ball from 30 feet out and someone comes to set a screen. He barely plays off the ball, Barely.
The whole team has become reliant on him. He is their offense and it isn't because his teammates are inept. It's kind of hard to find a good rhythm and get 'hot' when Lebron dribbles out the shot clock at the top of the key, then drives into the paint, gets the foul or throws it out to shooters who have been cold all night long to have to make tough shots.
That style of ball in the eastern conference may get you somewhere but you'll never win a championship against a great team.
What happened to "Lebron makes his teammates better? If you are going to blame anyone blame James and Erik Spoelstra who was tricked into abandoning team play for I-wanna-get-my-30-points, isolation at the top of the key, run over Paul George basketball. Of course if you dominate the ball that much you will probably get your 30 points and around 6 assists.
Just like those 60 win Cavs teams, Miami had a successful regular season because Lebron created easy shot opportunities for his teammates and got them the basketball in the right places. In this series, the Pacers forced his teammates to create for themselves and Lebron has played right into their hands. Wade and Bosh have had to work a lot harder and their shot has suffered. All of a sudden his teammates suck... really? They can't be that bad if they helped him to 66 wins, a historic 27 game win streak and sweep the Bucks and backdoor sweep the Bulls.

LOL people so ready to have the Heat's funeral. Last I checked this series is tied 3-3. People acting like Heat are down 3-0.

It actually does remind me of the Cavs, in that they cruise all regular season relying on iso LeBron, LeBron drive and kick etc etc... Then in the playoffs, teams realise they dont actually have ANY offensive plan and they struggle...
Just like this series, LeBron is only being gaurded with single coverage, yet isnt dominating shit. The role players arent getting there wide open shots and no one else is in any sort of rhythm to do anything..
Face it, LeBron is the downfall of this "team".. Blame Wade and Bosh all you want but it will be the same shit no matter where or who Bronzey plays with..

This...and we've seen many other players carry squads like this...and win series in the process.
Against better teams than the 49 win Pacers with no bench and Granger hurt.
Lebron is least to blame no doubt, and he's played well...but he hasn't been great overall.
And until he loses playing great...no need to worry about damage control.
See Duncan's 2006 game 7 as an example of playing great and losing. Or hell...Lebron in 08 game 7 as well.
If Lebron does stuff like that and loses...then we'll adjust blame accordingly. But being marginally better or slightly better than Paul George again just won't cut it.

Bingo. LeBron puts up the numbers. The outcome of this game is secondary to great stats.

Gimme Worthy over LBJ.

He's leading the team in turnovers and is shooting a terrible FT%
Good point, op.

This Stats really dont tell the whole story this series.. For all his numbers, LeBron has looked like shit out there, the rest of the Heat even worse.
Let's put it this way. I hate to drop a J-bomb, but do you really think if you put Paul George on Michael Jordan and didn't send any help, he'd have 28ppg at this point? Lebron's whole game is predicated on there being people to pass to, because he can't reliably finish unless he's got a layup. He's great at being what he is, but in the event there isn't anybody open because they're playing you with single coverage, you have to drop 40 on them, period. Heck, even Steve Nash used to do that. He was never a GOAT candidate.

Lebron is averaging 14 more points than the second highest scorer on the Heat, the "superstar" Wade.
Lebron is averaging twice as much rebound as Chris Bosh, who is averaging 3.7rpg as a starting center.
Despite all the physicality and defensive focus on Lebron, he is still averaging 28.5ppg on over 51% shooting.
So before you criticize Lebron, look at the numbers. Is it really Lebron's fault?
Looks about as good as the help Dirk got in the 2011 playoffs overall.

Re: Before game 7, before you judge Lebron, take a look at this chart
Bosh is avg less than 4 rebounds a game

I would say the big difference is in the rebounding department. If Miami can rebound with Indiana then they should win. In the losses they have had they were killed on the boards.. I wrote this would happen all year..

I know...kind of trolling, but not too much. Just not a huge difference with the great play of Haslem and Birdman in this series.
