Whoever plays against Miami is the Team America.

Mavs and Spurs were good Team America because they are likeable.
OKC were poor, they weren't likeable and they got blown out as well.

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,

    With conquering limbs astride from land to land;

Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand

A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame

Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name

Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand

Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command

The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.

"Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she

With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

well South America is technically an America

and I guess Europe is now New America and Australia is Unknown America

    Simple really,
in the media Miami Heat is evil, darkness, everything bad Personified and altgough everyone is American on the Heat they're somehow the big Bad
and every other team is TEAM America

you'd think people would cheer for Seattle Allen,Rashard
    Greg Odens redemption,Mario"I beat D Rose"Chalmers,Hometown lifers
Jones,Haslem,Heat chasing a historic 3-peat and 4th Straight Trip,The new generation moving up in Goat rankings displacing the old

but nope,It's strange and odd just how much hate the Heat get just from being a team
Even the commentators during the games use every opportunity to hate on the Heat and their fans

Just what exactly did the Heat do to get all this hate?
There's been more loaded,Stacked rosters before.
There's been dirtier, more physical, more trash talking, more flopping on other teams.
There's been more dominance from other teams.

It seems to me that the media hates the Heat bc it's not THEIR Team.
Most of the media is LAL,Chi,Bos,NY biased.

I guarantee if this same exact team did everything theyre doing now and everything they did but were the LAL,NYK,Bos,Chi
they'd be hyped and praised to no end.
Instead of the media fueling hate, criticism, disrespect theyd do the Jordan thing and everybody would eat it up like they do with the hate now.

You'd think the Heat are Bad Boys level of play,MJ trash talking,BR Celtics Dominance and Stacked,Most Ref Helped,Worst Flopping,Most Criminals,Most Selfish Playing,Most Egocentric,Unamerican,Terrorist supporting Team and Players
with the amount of Hate they get.

An ESPN poll that came out just a couple day's ago has the Heat overtaking the Lakers as America's favorite NBA team (which may not be what OP means by "America's Team").
