Late 80s Jordan was arguably the best perimeter man defender of all time, but I'd say there have been better overall perimeter defenders.

as kenny smith said, michael jordan was the deon sanders of basketball. you wouldn't even run plays on his side of the court because he was an absolute thief in the passing lanes.
