It is admirable and that's why we know who he is.

A lot of people love this guy for going against the status quo of being a corporate slave that sits in his office watching pornhub all day.

Most people are far too cowardly to go on such an adventure.

this 22yo college wizard with his wilderness handbook couldn't even push 3 months before getting rekt

How dumb do you have to be to enter alaskan wilderness with no map and supplies to last a week... what were you planning on doing to survive past that?

He accidentally ate a poisonous berry.

Anyhow, a 10 year old scout would hopefully be trained well.

McCandless was not and likely did not care if he died at the beginning.
