Default A look at Nets trade assets

Kris Humphries, who will have a $12 million expiring contract next season, is their main one. Then thereís MarShon Brooks, the highly talented/sometimes mistake-prone 24-year-old swingman who has struggled to gain confidence while playing sporadic minutes. Brooks is making just $1.16 million this season and wonít be eligible for restricted free agency until the 2015-16 campaign.
The Nets also have several future first-round picks at their disposal, and Tyshawn Taylorís career-high 12-point, 34-minute performance on Monday night only increased his value in a potential deal.

-Hump - $12m expirer next season before summer 2014.. large enough so a team under the tax can match a max contract.
-M.Brooks - so much talent left to be tapped
-T.Taylor - Orlando SL MVP, rated higher than Lillard by Ford at the draft, 25/9 in the D.League
-Toko - another beast in the D.League who is simply too young to play on a win now team
-All our 1st rounders going forward
-Rights to Bojan Bogdanovic - high end SG/Sf prospect overseas
-Right to Karaman - PF/C bruiser type.. with 3 point range.
-Ability to take back as much salary in trade
-2 Small TPEs from the Wallace trade

We have plenty of assets.. and pretty much all of them go up in value next season, which is why I'm not opposed to waiting.

I really wish the Nets go for Paul Milsap this season and hire Jerry Sloan for next season. This can easily be an improved version of 07-10 Jazz, assuming Deron returns healthy next season:

C: Brook Lopez >> Melmet Okur
PF: Paul Milsap == Carlos Boozer
SF: Gerald Wallace == Andri Kirilenko
SG: Joe Johnson >> Ronnie Brewer
PG : Deron Williams == Deron Williams

Wallace is no where near what AK was back then.
I also like our bench compared to theirs.

Interesting perspective. I'd say Wallace takes a step back with this current Nets team as we do not need his scoring much, hes more like a defender and motivator nowadays. If you have him as your 2nd option, hes good enough to put up 15/8/5.
