Klay is not better than Beal.

Derozen is better than him though. As well as Donovan Mitchell.

Harden and Dipo are the only ones clearly better. I'd take Mitchell over Beal, but that's arguable, same with DeRozen, though, I take Beal there. Whether Butler is a "two or a three," I still prefer Bradley. Got him above Klay as well as Booker.

    Underrated.

I made a thread recently about him. Every time I've watched, he puts in a shift on both ends.

He is elite both sides of the ball.

He is angling to make All-NBA and get the supermax.

Never been a big fan of the public self praise from him and Wall. Beal is having a strong season though.

I think Harden is the only one that is better than him for sure. After Harden, I would have no problem at ranking Beal as the second best SG. He is having a great season.

This topic has shown me people don't watch Wizards games.

You cant evaluate a player if you don't actually watch his games. First of all, he has been playing a lot better without Wall in yhe way. Wall is an impediment for any good player.

Booker scores 50, so what? Beal does everything on both sides of the floor. Booker not so much.

Beal is definitely better offensively than Klay "3 good games a year" Thompson.

It could be true but in his position I wouldn't have said it. If one of the worst teams in the NBA has one of the best players then that means that player's teammates suck. That isn't the point he's trying to make but it's a logical inference. Making this statement will get some people to look at the season he's having that were not before but the potential for it to chine a negative light on the guys he works with every day are a good reason not to. He has a small shot at All-NBA but probably will lose out to players on better squads regardless of this little bit of self-promotion.

Not really. The whole Wade comparisons have always been nonsense. He avoids contact at the rim when that's what Wade was all about and, more importantly, doesn't even get to the rim close to as much as a young Wade. In Wade's first four seasons he never took less than 37% of his shots in the 0-3 range. Mitchell takes a paltry 22% of his shots at the rim this season.

    He's not #2.

He's a flavor of the month player. Hasn't sustained this level over multiple years.

He'd be a good fit as a 3rd semi 2nd option scorer. He's on the level of Lou Will in terms of impact.

Neither are number 1 options which is what Booker is forced to be in Phoenix. If he could play second fiddle to a star player like Beal does to Wall, he'd be better at it. If you put Booker in Beals role in Washington with a healthy Wall, he'd dominate more than Beal.
