Default why doesnt kobe let lin run the offense? kobe can get his shots off anytime

how do you know that this wasn't the game plan? Why do you assume kobe didn't let lin ran the offense?

Lin is literally in the same exact situation he was in Houston with Harden

Because he is inconsistent and struggles dribbling the ball when there is defensive pressure. He creates too many turnovers to efficiently run an offense. He will have moments where he looks good attacking the basket though.

This... it was remarkable how similar he looked most of the game to Houston Lin. Kobe could definitely do a better job of getting him involved.

Before the haters make dumb remarks, obviously Kobe is top dog and Lin should definitely defer to Kobe. But the whole entire team started to get going when Lin got going.

Its simple, Kobe = meball , Lin = team ball, when Kobe sat out those 2 pre season games there were like 6-7 players in double figures, black holebe

I noticed Kobe rarely got the ball when Lin handled it too. Lin usually only sets up the big men. If Lin learns to kick the ball out more when attacking the rim the Lakers would be a lot better. Same goes for kobe, he rarely passes out and chooses to do a fade away instead

Kobe is much more controlled and has a clear advantage in ball security.

Yeah, but at least Harden is in his prime. Kobe wants to take 20 foot turnaround jumpers with two men on him.

Lin brought up the ball and initiated the offense more than Kobe.

The results were...less than impressive, putting it nicely.

because kobe is only effective with the ball in his hands. Lin playing terribly is a product of kobe ball.

Did you watch the game last night? Lin had the ball multiple times when Kobe was and wasn't on the court. Lin ended up getting his shots sent back and being unable to do anything without someone named Ed Davis on the floor for the most part.

Kobe's dime to Wes Johnson was better than pretty much anything Lind id in terms of playmaking.
