Honestly, I think he could be a damn good player in the L. He's 6'5, 200 with a 7 foot wingspan. He's got range, handles, athleticism, size, confidence and a good attitude.
I seriously think he could be a great backup guard. He's def not a true pg or sg, but his mix of defense, outstanding size, etc would really shine given time I think.
I seriously think he's better than Lin. If he got 15-20 mpg I think he could do some damage for the Dubs. He only got 5 mpg last season, so hopefully this summer league domination he's put down gets him some burn. Mark Jackson was watching this game and he at least is the type of coach to give players a chance.
I really hope he plays Bazemore a lot more than Toney Douglas. Douglas is alright, but this kid needs time on the court.
My prediction for 2013-2014 for Bazemore:
7.9 ppg, 2,9 rpg, 1.7 apg, 1 spg, .4 bpg in 13 mpg
My prediction for 2014-2015 for Bazemore (wherever he may end up):
16.8 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.8 apg, 1.6 spg, .6 bpg in 26 mpg
I don't see him ever being a starter. His greatest strength is actually defense, so perhaps he could find himself starting (at SG)on a team like Memphis, and playing a similar role to Tony Allen. One thing that has impressed me in SL is his midrange jumper. He didn't have that last year, so it's nice to see he is working on the holes in his game.
