Should the Hawks trade Teague?

Unfortunately, this is a conversation the Hawks management has to have.
I would rather the Hawks trade Shelvin Mack, who deserves to play somewhere and is better than some starters in the league.

Hawks get

Jeff Green

Celtics get

Shelvin Mack
DeMarre Carroll
John Jenkins

And then the Hawks sign Josh Smith to a min. contract.

Front court is - Horford at 5, Smith at 4, Millsap at 3, with Jeff Green backing up at 3 and 4 off the bench.

Trading Carroll would be so dumb, we desperately need his perimeter D. Remember how poorly we played when he was out?

We would have Jeff Green instead, who is a far better player. What part of that is confusing.

No argument that Carroll is better than the likes Cartier Martin.

Carroll is too thin and wears out as the season goes on. I don't know why he doesn't put on 10-15 pounds of muscle so bigger small forwards don't beat him up.

The Hawks have a problem under Ferry/Bud in playing rookies.
