Why does a left handed shot look odd?

If a player has the same shot form as a right-hander, only mirrored, it still looks like they are shooting sideways.

Are left-handers shooting with the same mechanics as right-handed shooters?

If the majority of the NBA shot the ball left-handed, then right-handed shooters would look wierd.

for a number of reasons :

1) shot looks off
2) weird mechanics
3) shoots from the other side of the court
4) writes differently
5) holds pen incorrectly
6) walks on the wrong side of a girl
7) ties his shoes opposite
8) whacks off wrong mirror image
9) hits a baseball to the out field wrong slice
10) passes with the wrong arm
11) doesn't look anything like a switch hand MJ layup
12) have a thread on ISH about this
