Default Michael Jordan 1997 Finals Game 1 Winning Shot

    https://youtu.be/BNlNXtcYodc?t=10m15s

it blows me away how kyrie's injury could have been avoided, and cleveland's win could have set the tone and taken the momentum of the series if only lebron would have taken a better shot.

bron had a great game, but let's face it - he ****ed up. not the fact that he missed, but a step back fade away three? take a lesson from the goat.

LeBron should have taken it to the post. Back his man down, and if he draws help, he'll have a shooter wide open.

I'm not sure why some players take the last shot of the game differently than they treat any other shot... aside from the time restraints of course.

True... I think players get a little hesitant taking it to the rim for the last shot since the refs often swallow their whistles, and it can lead to leaving time on the clock for the other team to make a shot. Same thing happened before LeBron's game winner against the Bulls. He took it to the rim, Noah fouled, no call. If the same thing happened last night, and the Warriors rebound the ball, they can call TO and get the last shot of the game. Sticky situation

yea.. like I said, thats why it wasnt an amazing game.. now 44 pts on what would have been like 50% and a W in G1 of the Finals @ GS, thats an epic game... but that brick and L, sorry, somewhere between good-great.. nothing more, nothing all time unusual..

Lebron is an awful midrange shooter doe. MJ is the 2nd or 3rd greatest behind Dirk

    GOAT GOATing.

Yep, Lebron should have taken a better shot at the end. If he did, Kyrie wouldn't have gotten injured.

It wasn't a 3pt shot, it was from 21 feet away.

    Real shit.

He also hit another game winner in the Flu Game that people never talk about. Then assisted Kerr on the game winner in the next game to seal the chip. His whole '97 playoff run is the most clutch run ever maybe. Multiple GW's, and huge 4th quarters.
