Do love Memphis, but if the Thunder had Westbrook, I say that have more than a good chance to beat the Grizzlies.
That said, Memphis still doesn't have an answer for LeBron, though it'd be an awesome matchup. Love to see it. Watching the Pacers vs. Miami may be a good picture into what a matchup between MEM and MIA would be like.
Not even a little bit surprised. He hates Westbrook. Knowing him, he'd probably try and argue Memphis would've swept OKC if we had Westbrook.
I don't understand the argument, though, that Memphis would beat Miami because Miami's biggest weakness is lack of size and frontcourt presence. That's probably OKC's biggest weakness. Our best lineups, like Miami, are our smallball lineups with Durant at PF and Ibaka or Collison at C. I mean sure, we couldn't really stop Z-Bo and Gasol, but the games were still really close despite the offense only having one viable scoring threat.
Miami's just a better version of OKC, even when OKC is healthy, so I don't see them losing to the Grizzlies; even if Wade is at 85%. Westbrook was at 0% and OKC kept the games close. LeBron is better than Durant and Bosh is better than Ibaka. Allen and Battier I'm sure would be better against Memphis than Martin and Thabo -- it wouldn't be hard to do since both sucked aside from Martin in game one.
He said it would go 7 games but OKC would still lose not because of Westbrook but because they don't double Zach and Gasol enough.
