Not so obviously hacked. It's from echofon, the iPhone app most of his other tweets are updated with. It could have easily been a tweet or text message that was supposed to be private.

Yes you can, well lots of people are using twitter as another form of texting now a days.

Somehow I doubt that he'd use something as public as twitter (whether it was intended to be a private message or not) to send such a message if it was really him.

Both are by phone, both are subject to being kept and exposed, but traditional texting can't be accidentally sent publicly.

To me, it's kind of ridiculous what people are claiming right now. So what, they were having a G rated convo on the public part of twitter and at the same time an X rated convo through private messages that accidentally got sent on the public section? How much sense does that make?
