And why?

I say Steph Curry. No one can get hot and drop buckets like he does. If he's feeling it, he would just keep scooting further and further out away from the bucket and keep draining them.

That being said, I don't think 100 will ever happen again. But I think Curry is the most likely.

Durant is the most capable, but it's not even feasible. Let's say someone got incredible hot, made 75% of their shots, 1/3 of which were 3's, and made 20 FT's in the game. They would still have to go 34-45 from the floor and make 12 3's.

It would never happen w/ Steph Curry, the way he scores.

Even if he got hot and hits 15 3's in a row, that's already 45 points. In order to score 100, that would have to happen in a relatively short period of time... say the first half of the game.

45 points from one player on 15 shots... unless the rest of the team can't make any shot at all, it's going to be a huge blow out.

I realize it's never going to happen, and I said that in the original post if you guys could read. But the question is which player is MOST LIKELY. Even if it never happens again, one player has to be the most likely!

If Melo got the calls Durant gets then he could get close

No one has a chance. But person who could score most points in a single game would be Melo. Could see him getting 70 if he gets ridiculously hot.

He scored 36 pts in a quarter, only he could do it.
He'd have to be hot as and have a green light.

I don't see it happening though.
