Blazers free agent situation

Steve Blake is returning to Portland for another season.

The Trail Blazers' backup point guard has exercised his player option for the 2015-16 season, President of Basketball Operations Neil Olshey announced Friday in a release.

The move, which was expected, gives the Blazers stability at at least one position heading into next season. While the free agent fates of LaMarcus Aldridge, Wesley Matthews, Robin Lopez and a host of other players remain in question, the Blazers will have continuity at point guard.
