Default Bulls needed scoring champ to win ring, but no one ever won scoring title/ring in yr

except MJ (6 times), and Kareem/Shaq once each in their peak season of 71'/00'

So the bulls couldn't have won with anyone else, since MJ was the only perimeter player in history good enough to fit league-best scoring into a championship brand of ball

Scoring is that it? How about leading your team in absolutely every single area like LeGOAT

he'd win more often than 3/9 if he didn't need an equal scoring partner to win...

Whereas MJ won by scoring 10-20 more than 2nd option, so he won MORE (6 rings) and with LESS (just 1 star teammate)

MJ averaged more assists in the 1991 Finals and carried the scoring burden (10 more than 2nd option).. and of course, jordan's 41 in 93' was also superior, as both series (91/93) had the highest game score ever

D Wade averaged 15.9 ppg in the 2013 playoffs

MJ never won with a second option averaging below 16ppg

In fact Wade might be the lowest scoring second option on a championship team ever

He won twice that way - pippen averaged 15.7 in both 96' Finals and 98' Finals

On 34 and 41% shooting, respectively.. pippen's 15 on 34% in 96' Finals is what, and he was outplayed by the 3rd option (schrempf)

Will you start hating on Harden when he does it this year?

Good question because he could definitely do it this year. I hope he does.

For the entire playoffs not just one series Pippen never averaged below 16ppg in any of the Bulls title runs

Whereas Wade averaged only 15.9 ppg so LeBron won with the lowest scoring second option ever
