Re: The US Air campaign against ISIS thread.
Don't know if that is directed at me or Obama, but I assumed folks would see I used it ironically.
it was directed at lindsay graham and michael sheenan in the video i posted.
i wouldn't directly insult you at this point. i've got a lot of respect for the effort you put into research and your ability to evaluate evidence; if not for your ideological position.
as for the substance of this thread, i'll be returning to probe into it with others who're interested in figuring this stuff out. i understand you didn't exhaust the issue of the middle east with this one single thread. my post was merely pointing to questions that one would need to ask to exhaust the issue of the middle east.

maybe later. wasting time on a busy day at work.
Also if it was directed at me, I wouldn't have taken it as an insult from you, more of a teasing.

A bunch from NATO. And a bunch of Sunni Arab countries.
But if you find a list post it here.

Re: The US Air campaign against ISIS thread.
we shouldn't/aren't sending our ground troops. it would be a horrible mistake.
yes we can win without doing that, we're not the only country, its basically the somewhat civilized world vs a extremist group. Iraq/Syria and whoever else can hunt them from there.
our air support will completely wreck them where they hide behind people and do Al Qaeda/Taliban fighting style. i really hate how we're going after the leadership first tho instead of all their peons, since they all need to be blown up before coming back home to wage terror amongst us.
anyways i expect us to crush them until they start hiding and fighthing behind curtains. i really hope we don't allow anyone that joined them to come back home, its really fukked up that is even a possibility

You act as if the US doesn't already have troops on the ground in Iraq.

Re: The US Air campaign against ISIS thread.
Over/under how long will it take to cripple ISIS once we go all out? I'd say they last 3 months tops. Destroy those pieces of shit USA! This is what you're paid for!

I like this air strike idea. Let's wipe these bastards off the planet. Especially the ones who left Western countries. Fck them

If we put troops on the ground, a few weeks at most. That's about how long it took to take down the entire Iraqi army and Saddam last time. But hopefully we don't commit to a ground attack and instead help other Middle East secure ISIS territory and blow those assholes to hell from the sky. Air Force gonna get a good workout coming weeks
