    Default The crappy, Kobe-less Lakers

Would be a playoff team with a decent seeding in the east.

I'm seeing about four tanking teams that are playoff-ready over there. What the hell?

The east is fkn pathetic this year

I thought 5-10 positions would be tight fighting for playoff spots, looks like only the top 4 will be above .500

Yeah, I'm pretty sure everyone here was saying that the Lakers would be kicking ass without Dwight AND Kobe.

most of the people talking about Kobe being a problem on the lakers don't think that the team is better without him, they think that the team would be better if rebuilt with out him as they would have a lot more salary and would be able to re work the system. Don't know if i buy it but i don't think anyone thinks that the current way they are built works better with out Kobe.

    This makes no sense.

Their two best players are Steve Blake & Jordan Hill. Kobe isn't playing while Nash & Gasol are dead

What? No one expected us to be great with Kobe being hurt and Gasol being old and injured. But we will be better offensively with spacing, and especially in the 4th without Howard bricking at the ft line.

Don't worry. Kobe will come back and the Lakers will still suck. What will be your excuse then?

Quick, someone post DonDadda's Laker-excuse thread.

You sound like a straight up hater.

A 36 year old Kobe on this team would have to shoulder more weight than a prime Lebron James if he wanted the Lakers to even make the playoffs.

Are you going to diss him if he isn't able to do that?

Kobe has nothing left to prove

But I thought Howard the cancer leaving the team would make the team better. Silly Laker fans. Stick to one consistent argument.

You take 30 mil then blame this team for losing because all you can afford is scrubs. No faker fans gonna championship flight this year? No more Xavier Henry is gonna MVP?

Kobe not playing and they lose: SEE! They suck without him!
Kobe playing and they lose: It's someone's fault BUT kobe! Let's blame the coach and all the other players. If not, we'll cry about refs and "free throw disparity".
